What are these?

Cube 1994 invited us to design and develop their new website and they were very keen for the finished article to reflect the styling and ‘contemporary’ feel of their company and the gardens they design and build in Essex. To date, their gardens have won 2 BALI National Landscape Awards in 2014, the Chelsea Flower Show in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 and the Hampton Court Flower Show in 2014 to name a few.

The new website had to fulfil two main goals: firstly, provide a portfolio area where they could really show-off their past projects by giving space to all the stunning photograph they've amassed from completed projects and secondly, generate new business leads by clearly displaying a range of contact details and a short contact form.

What we did

What we did

The new website features a Portfolio section where our client’s work has been categorised into Contemporary Gardens, Traditional Gardens and Sensory Gardens. We have also developed custom animated portfolio filtering to allow the user to see only the types of garden they are interested in.

We have continued the emphasis on product photography into the portfolio section, where we have built a bespoke image gallery that also includes copies of the original design sketches for the project to illustrate how a project goes from drafting to realisation.

The Press section showcases the magazines Cube 1994 have been featured in, either for their projects or awards they have won. Publications are shown with copies of their front covers and the option to download a copy for yourself.

As with all our web projects the site is fully responsive and built using the incredibly powerful Craft CMS, giving our clients the opportunity to make almost all of the content and images updates they would like on their own accord.
