Dan Walsh

I'll work with you from the first time you make contact with Enovate to the day your project is completed and beyond. I handle new business, project management and design so I'll work with you to draw up the initial project proposal and estimate followed by the statement of work and contract.

Once the documentation is all signed and the project begins I handle discovery and research during which I find out all about you, your business and the issues you're facing. Once I'm clear on your position and needs I'll produce wireframes followed by designs that get passed to our developers to turn into working web pages.

At this point I become less hands-on with the project but I'm still involved from a project management perspective ensuring you are kept up-to-date with our progress and that deadlines are met as well as being your point of contact for anything related to your project.

My career in web design started at Anglia Ruskin University where I studied Multimedia Systems and following my graduation, began work as a Junior Designer at Netforce PLC, a medium sized web company based in Chelmsford, Essex.

After two years at Netforce the company was re-branded as Your Communications. A promotion and bigger clients followed but sadly, after just one year of trading, Your Communications was closed.

During my time at Your Communications I was closely involved in the creation of the City of London Corporation's website and to continue this project I was appointed Senior Designer within the City's internal development team. Working in government is certainly different to agency work but it taught me plenty and gave me my first experience of developing for content management systems.

After several years at the Corporation, marriage, two children and relocation to Leigh-on-Sea in Essex I decided it was time for a change and a strong desire to get back into agency life brought me to Enovate.

Outside of work I'm an aspiring duathlete/triathlete which involves a lot of cycling, running and swimming training as well as racing at events around the country.
