Brief

Estuary Technical Solutions Ltd have over 40 years experience, specialising in the installation and maintenance of gas, electrical and plumbing systems for the commercial and domestic markets.

With no current website the first requirement was the design and development of a suitable landing page to indicate that a new website was on its way.

Following that the main requirements of the new website included the delivery of an easy-to-use content management system, a secure login area for clients to access and download documentation and certificates from, a 'book a job' form enabling users to submit the detail of their job to the team and a postcode search tool confirming to users if Estuary Technical Solutions operate in their area.

Website hosting and CMS training were also required as part of the project and is something we offer with all our website projects.

What we did

We began the website design and development project by conducting thorough research into Estuary Technical's target audiences and the services they provide to them. Once complete, we then categorised these key services so that we could best organise the homepage design to highlight them.

As the designs took shape we were in constant communication with Estuary Technical, gathering their feedback at every opportunity ensuring they felt both involved and happy with the work we were producing.

Once the designs of the main pages had been fine-tuned and approved we began development, firstly by setting-up the Craft CMS environment and creating the page templates and adding the content that forms the bulk of the site but also working on the bespoke elements such as the client login area and book a job form.

Following a demonstration of the client login area and 'book a job' form to the client we made some further enhancements based on their valuable input and when everything was completed and tested the site was launched.

Alongside the website project we also worked on ensuring the site was fully search engine optimised and also set-up a Google AdWords account which involved conducting keyword research and setting up bids on the most relevant and affordable keywords.
