The Brief
Our existing client, Eden Aesthetics, approached us with a request to design and develop a new Shopify store for the purposes of selling the products of the latest brand to enter into an exclusive UK distribution deal with them, Marini Skin Solutions.
A rapid turnaround was required and so we decided that the most effective approach was to use Shopify and an off-the-shelf theme that could be tailored to match the Marini brand.
This is our third Shopify project for Eden Aesthetics which demonstrates not only their faith in us as their web design and development agency but also how they’ve embraced Shopify as the foundation of so much of their online skincare retail business.
What we did
We started the development work by initiating a new Shopify store framework and applying a theme to it. From there we adjusted the theme settings - fonts, logos, colours, etc - to use the Marini branding and very quickly we had a branded and functioning e-commerce store.
Working in tandem with the client, we entered all the store’s content - products, contact information, blogs, policies, etc. Following that we integrated and configured a number of apps that had been selected to provide certain elements of functionality the client needed for shipping, exclusive products and user access.
With everything in place and functioning we moved onto the launch phase of the project and other than some slight difficulties involving the transfer and setup of the domain name everything went smoothly and the store was opened to the public on time and on budget.
