The Brief
Portuguese Flannel had an existing Shopify website that was in need of a design refresh and some adjustments to the content management system, to allow for a more editorial approach to content pages, as well as some changes behind-the-scenes to make use of the latest features provided by Shopify, particularly in relation to multi-currency.
Working with our design partner, IYA Studio, we were responsible for the Shopify development aspects of the project and applying a brand new design (or theme in Shopify terms) along with making various code changes and updates as required by the client.
What we did
Once the new design had been created and approved by the client it was our job to develop the new theme, ensure it was applied correctly and stayed true to the artwork and delivered a reliable and intuitive experience across all devices.
The client supplied feedback to us at regular intervals and we iterated the prototype theme before getting sign-off and applying it to the live site.
The new design is far more in keeping with the brand’s style and the adjustments to the high traffic areas of the site, such as the homepage and product pages, deliver far more useful content to visitors and have helped to drive up sales.
