Brief
R. Fulcher & Sons are a local company, based in sunny Leigh on Sea in Essex, that specialise in residential and commercial property rendering. They've been in business since 1890 and have undertaken countless modern and traditional rendering projects, large and small throughout Essex, and have won several awards for their excellent work.
The existing R. Fulcher & Sons website was built on an ageing content management system, didn't respond well to being viewed on small screened devices and was hard to update and maintain.
The brief required we carry out a full redesign and redevelopment process, delivering a brand new website that's fit for the modern world.

What we did
Starting with a discovery and research process we looked into the positives and negatives of the existing site, what competitor's were doing with their websites and formulated a plan of action.
The design took inspiration from the company's branding and identity, as well as some of the forms of their award winning projects. We wanted to make the services and galleries the centre of attention to really show off the portfolio of work and the new site is filled with high quality photographs of past projects.
Behind the scenes the site is built on the Gatsby Javascript framework and any content updates the client wants to make are handle by our team of developers. In some instances, such as this, a full content management system isn't required if the client doesn't wish to make frequent updates to the site content and by building a static website we can provide a cost saving to the client.
