Most AI coverage is aimed at large enterprises with data science teams and seven-figure budgets. That leaves a gap for the organisations we work with most: SMEs, charities, and NGOs with between 10 and 100 people who have real operational problems AI could solve, but no obvious way to get started.

We built our AI practice specifically for that gap. We’re not an AI research lab trying to sell to smaller organisations. We’re a technical agency that has spent years building Laravel applications and integrations for SMEs, and we’ve extended that capability to include practical, outcome-focused AI delivery.

What we actually build

The AI projects we deliver rarely look like the dashboards and chatbots that dominate the marketing. Most of our work falls into three patterns:

Automating the manual work that eats into the day. Quote preparation, supplier research, data entry from incoming emails, status lookups across half a dozen systems. These tasks are individually small but collectively consume enormous amounts of staff time. A well-scoped AI workflow can reduce a 12-hour-per-week task to 2 hours, freeing the team to focus on higher-value work.

Turning existing data into forward-looking insight. Most organisations have years of data in their CRM, accounting system, or operational tools, and almost none of it is being used predictively. Demand forecasting, stock-out prevention, pricing intelligence, customer churn signals: these are problems where AI genuinely changes outcomes, and the data needed to solve them usually already exists.

Meeting your team where they already work. We often deliver AI tooling as a Chrome side panel or a lightweight integration into the tools your team uses every day, rather than asking them to log into yet another dashboard. Nobody checks dashboards. People do check the screen they’re already looking at.

How we approach a project

Every AI project starts with a short paid discovery phase (usually one to two days) where we look at the data you already have, the processes that are eating the most time, and where AI could realistically help. The output is a clear scoping document with options, costs, and expected outcomes. You own that document whether or not you choose to work with us.

From there, a typical project runs in phases. We build the data foundation first, then a working model, then the interface your team actually uses. Each phase delivers something tangible before we start the next, so you’re never committing to a six-month black box.

We’re transparent about what AI can and can’t do. Some problems are a perfect fit. Others are better solved by a bit of Laravel automation with no AI involved at all, and we’ll tell you when that’s the case.
