Josh joins Enovate
Enovate appoints Josh, fresh out of university, as a Junior Front-end Developer.
Josh has joined Enovate as a Junior Front-end Developer after graduating from Southampton Solent University with a 2:1 honours degree in Web Design and Development.
Josh was attracted to the role at Enovate after researching web design agencies in Essex and felt that Enovate would be an excellent place to begin his career.
We had a record number of applicants for the Junior Front-end Developer position and many of an excellent standard. But we selected Josh because of his depth of existing knowledge and he was able to speak comfortably about many web technologies that assured us of his own passion for web design and development, which is core to our company culture.
Josh will be taken under the wing of Jamie our current Front-end Developer and thereby creating additional capacity to respond to the growing demand for website design and development services.
In his final year at University Josh completed a project which explored and implemented technologies such as server-side scripting with PHP and full-text document searching with Elasticsearch. The aim of the project was to enable students to create long lasting friendships by matching students with common interests.
When Josh is out of the office, he loves to catch up with friends, be it over a drink at the pub or other activities such as rock climbing or going to gigs. When he’s not catching up with friends he likes to watch movies and mess about with new coding technologies, yes even outside of the office.
