Brief
Van Vynck have been providing a wide range of environmental services for over 25 years, from specialist bird control techniques to general pest control. Van Vynck take pride on their customer care and quality of service, and as such have achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification. They are also members of the British Pest Control Association and are audited annually by National Britannia for health and safety as part of our Safe Contractor accreditation.
Van Vynck have been a loyal client for us here at Enovate for over 12 years, so we were thrilled to be approached by them to rebuild their website, using Craft CMS.

What we did
The previous version of the Van Vynck website was completed in early 2013. The site served it's purpose very well for 4 years, but our client wasn't able to get the most out of the content management system, which at the time, was MODx.
As a result, we completely re-built the site from the ground up, with the main goals of improving code quality, SEO, and the content management experience for our client. The new version of the website has been built using Craft CMS, giving the client full content control.
The website is hosted on the latest iteration of our cloud hosting infrastructure at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The website benefits from Varnish caching, which delivers very low server response times, averaging ~250ms worldwide. For increased download speed we’re also serving the site using PHP 7 and Amazon’s CloudFront CDN (content delivery network). Last but not least we're using Let’s Encrypt to provide a free SSL certificate.
