The Brief
Having worked with this client on a previous project - the hosting and support of their sister-brand’s site, Mondrian Alpha - we were commissioned to build, host and support the new website for Mondrian Delta.
The site needed to be built with an easy-to-use content management system and with the client already familiar with Craft CMS it was an obvious choice to use Craft for the Mondrian Delta site.
The main challenge we faced with this project was meeting the required launch date, having just just six weeks from start to finish, but with IYA Studio taking the reins on the design front, as the client’s incumbent creative partner, we were confident it was a challenge we could meet.
What we did
Once we had access to the approved design files in Figma we could get stuck into the development and production process and start bringing the page templates to life in the browser. Testing for responsiveness and accessibility as we work ensures there are no major hurdles to address and bugs get caught and squashed quickly rather waiting to surprise us during the QA phase.
With the development site rapidly taking shape we started inputting the content and continuing to test and check for snags and inconsistencies in the application of IYA’s design. This attention to detail from everyone involved allowed us to have the site populated with content, tested and ready for launch on time and the project’s success is testament to everyone involved.
