The Brief
The Warren Estate approached us with a requirement to redesign and redevelop their website, the current version having reached the end of its useful lifespan.
The main aspects of the brief were that the new site should be responsive, so that it functions and looks great on any device, the design should be striking and make use of their high resolution photography, the content should be rich and engaging whilst being easy to find and user friendly. Beyond the new website there was also a requirement to provide ongoing support and maintenance and professional consultancy.
We visited The Warren Estate to meet the team and present our vision for the project and, some days later, were delighted to be awarded this exciting project.
What we did
We started the project by engaging with the client and working through a detailed research and discovery period to find out how we could deliver a successful end result. This process provides invaluable information to the whole team and helps guide and inform us as decision are made with the client’s best interests always in mind.
We then moved into the design phase and worked through a process of creating artwork for the key pages in the site, submitting files to the client for feedback and iterating until all the main page designs had been approved and could be passed to the developers to begin coding.
As the designs came to life in the browser we were able to share a secure, work in progress, development site with the client to gather their feedback and make any changes needed until we reached a point where the site was fully developed and populated with content.
The finished site was launched on time and has received some great feedback from the many and varied clients of The Warren Estate. We’re already working on a series of phase two enhancements and have bi-monthly meetings scheduled to handle the ongoing consultancy.
