Most agencies resell shared hosting from a third-party provider. We don’t. We’ve built and refined our own hosting platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS), and it’s one of the things we’re genuinely proud of. Every site we host benefits from infrastructure we understand end-to-end, monitored by the same team that builds the applications running on it.

Why AWS

AWS is the most mature, most reliable, and most flexible cloud platform available, and it’s what we’d choose whether we were building for a small business or a national organisation. The difference is that we’ve done the work to make enterprise-grade infrastructure cost-effective for SMEs, so you get hosting that would normally be out of reach at a price that makes sense at your scale.

What our hosting delivers

Virtual Private Cloud security. Every site runs inside its own isolated network environment, with only the resources that need to be public exposed to the internet. Databases and back-office services stay private by default.

Load-balanced, high-availability architecture. There’s no single point of failure. If a server instance fails, another takes its place automatically with no downtime for your visitors.

Auto-scaling to handle traffic spikes. Whether it’s a press mention, a product launch, or a marketing campaign hitting harder than expected, the infrastructure grows to meet demand and shrinks back afterwards, so you only pay for what you use.

CloudFront CDN across the globe. Your site is served from Amazon’s edge locations nearest to each visitor, wherever they are in the world. That means fast page loads for users in the UK and for international visitors alike.

Automated deployments and backups. One-click deployments mean we can roll out updates quickly and safely, with the ability to roll back if anything goes wrong. Automated backups run on a schedule, with point-in-time recovery available when it matters.

Performance-tuned from the ground up. Every layer of the stack (web server, PHP runtime, database, caching) has been benchmarked and optimised. Our Craft CMS and Laravel sites routinely score in the top band for Lighthouse Performance out of the box.

Who we host for

We host every client website we build, whether Craft CMS, Laravel, or Shopify (through Shopify’s own infrastructure where it makes sense), and we also take on hosting-only clients whose existing site needs a better home. When Vercel is the right answer

AWS is our default, but it isn’t always the right tool. For Next.js projects (particularly those with a global audience where every millisecond of edge latency counts) we host on Vercel. Vercel is purpose-built for Next.js, serves pages from edge locations worldwide, and handles image optimisation, incremental static regeneration, and preview deployments as first-class features. On the projects where that combination matters, it consistently outperforms any self-managed equivalent.

A common pattern for our research and climate platforms is a hybrid: the Next.js front-end hosted on Vercel, with the Craft CMS or Laravel backend and database running on our AWS infrastructure. That gives us the edge performance Vercel is built for and the control and cost profile AWS gives us for the backend. We manage both sides of the stack end-to-end.
